Crazy problem for you lads,
Having lots of trouble with my tuners or is it my dish?
Have a vu+ duo, running VixZeus007 with a motorized dish, Tuner A is usuals, Tuner B is second cable. This problem has been going on a while.
Picture will be fine until I change channel. Screen stays black, tune failed error pops up, then when I go back to previous channel the tune failed error appears again, and also on all channels.
If I go into sat finder, the signal bars show no signal, until I take out the cable and put it straight back in. Then signal bars show signal and picture returns on all channels. Later the problem will randomly happen again.
At no stage does the second tuner ever kick in.
If I switch around the cables the problem persists.
If I switch the tuner setup the problem persists.
A factor that may be relevant is the long run between the dish and box. There are 2 high stories and a double picthed roof to go. Maybe the signal has become too weak to change LNB?
I can't think of anything else.
