Box not turning dish

Hi
Can someone please help

I have a new VU +
I have been trying to connect it to a motorised dish
I had a Spiderbox on the same dish it worked
So I set the dish to Thor using the spider turned it off and connected the VU
I was Hoping that the VU would take the place of the spider and use all the spider settings
I think I have set it all up to the point when I try to use the dish positioned the dish dos not move east or west

It is a Darkman motor I have tried using the East / west buttons to move the dish no go

I have also held the two buttons I together for about 6 seconds still no movement

Can someone please help me

Hi mate

Have you in the vu + set up your motor settings with your location long/lat, i think there a faq on setting up a motor dish in the sticky section

What settings have you entered for tuner connected to dish? Are there any switches involved?

What is connected to other tuner and what is it configured as?

Yes I have entered my Lon & Lat still can get dish to move

And set 'use USALS' to 'yes'?

Yes their they are set to Usals when I put in Lon / Lat

Good News

I have it sorted all running OK

It was a loose connection

Renewed the f connector on coax

Many thanks for all your help

Next thing is How do I load a CCcam
