New price is £270, so depending on age and condition, I would say probably about £200-£230 without any hdd...

what condition is it in ie marks or dents, what tuner arrangement does it have

excellent condition; no visible marks or dents; two single dvbs tuners in slots a and b

so its a standard receiver no extras

to get a quad ultimo, you would have 1xdvb-s2, 1xdvb-s2, 1xtwin dvb-s2.

Or you could have 3 x Twin sat tuners have 6 tuners.

E2 now supports up to 8 tuners so those USB ports can aslo be used.

I think the confusion is that the tuners have 2 connectors each but the bottom ones are loopthrough

As maxwell correctly says the Ultimo can support quad dvb-s/s2 tuners but only one of those can be a twin tuner, the other two must be single tuners.

Yes you are right Pheonix just had a look, 2 single and a twin tuner still a Ultimo quad with 2 tb hard drive and 2 remotes. Whats it worth and what would be p&p on this ?.
