I have Venton HD3 (OpenVix) box with DVB-C tuners. I have CIv1 card reader. I have set recording options as "Descramble and record ecm" and CA settings I have disabled management of simultaneous recordings (as CIv1 does not support this).

I can watch and record pay channels ok, including HD channels, but I cannot watch or decrypt recordings saved as encrypted. These will be produced e.g. with two simultaneous recordings. I have tried "Start offline decode", but this will never end.

Does anyone know whether this hw supports decryption of recordings?

I don't think so; off-line decoding is only supported by a very limited number of boxes.
You would be better of using the internal card reader (if your card is supported).

To view HD pay channel programs from my cable TV provider, I need to use registered CIv1 (or CI+). I'll give up...

Yeah, providers giving you no free hardware choice and even a CI+....... brrrrrr.
