Vu+solo2 newbie

I have a box on pre order, and hoping it arrives this week.
Is there a definitive guide for a newbie from start to finish?

I've had a quick read through the first tutorial and come across this comment?
Although the original Tutorial i wrote mentions the Vu+ Duo it is pretty much universal for any E2 receiver using the ViX image ( barring the bootloader and flashing sections, these are specific to the Vu+ Duo and must not be carried out on any other receiver as you will damage them ).

The Solo2 displays a message saying an update has been found, press the power button to update when flashing a new image.

do I just need to install the image and not a bootloader??

Yes just the image for solo2
