A vu+ duo questions

Hi all I'm new here and to the duo, I'm concerned the box I bought here..http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261400505961?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 is a clone, it's rebooted with the black software message a few times now. It does have the sticker on the box too. And I have to restart mg***ds any ideas guys

1st thing to do is a fresh flash to VIX (this gets rid of all the crap they have installed on it) you might find all is OK afterwards if it is software they have pre-installed.

What sticker is on the box? If its a link to a site with clone-safe images then obviously its a clone. Its a bit hasty so say what it is just because it has crashed a few times.

Glad you got a result mate that's one reason i use paypal and when they re-credit you you know where to get your NEW Box from,i would have bought my Gigablue Quad from WOS but they had none in stock

I wish i had seen this post before i went a bought a box from the same supplier on ebay. I wanted an original box not a clone. If i wanted a clone then it's easy to get one from china.

Hi all, PayPal have sorted me full refund, and seller has been pretty good really, paying full return postage £14.12! Bought a real 1 from wos and arrived today, just installing it now, but I have to say, the quality difference between them is immense the. Genuine is heavier, better plastics, better buttons, the card slot drawer is better, even the remote is better quality. If I knew I was buying a clone, then I'd go with it, what's really pissed me off here is I even emailed them and asked if it was a clone 1st, and they said NO. Any how's a lesson learnt. Thank you guys for ALL you help here. Phil
