Autobouquet maker wrong numbers

Hi Guys

Hope I don't sound silly here. And hopefully someone can help

I setup my vu solo2 no problem. Hard drive etc etc

I followed two separate guides to setup channel lists but seem to be having an issue with channel numbers

I would like to have normal sly uk channel numbers order with feesat and some irl ones

Followed the guide. Every time it's finished I go into the channels select all channels as that's what I would like to have it on. I think. But the channels start at 2101 so BBC HD 1 is 2101

I think bbc ni 1 is 101

I'm completely confused! Can someone. Help please

If you want sky numberinmg, you will have to enable the Sky bouquet, not just Freesat. You must also have Sky above Freesat.

I am afraid that there will be two lots of numbers. You will have the official numbers, after this you will also have the channel in the bouquets. So if you type 101 you will get the numbers in the official numbering bouquet. If you select one from the other bouquets it will show up as different number. Both are the same channel though. ( Ignore this for now:- You could also change a setting in the image so that the first chanenl in each bouquet is 1)

Hopefully this should resolve your issue. If not, please post screen shots of your settings.

Delete all your channels you have now. Press menu on each folder i.e. Entertainment, Movies, Sport etc n select remove entry until all the list is empty.
Then press menu, setup, service searching, ABM, providers;
FreeSat - No
SKY SCOTLAND - No
SKY IRL - Yes
SKY IRL area - Northern Ireland
SKY UK - Yes
SKY UK area - Chose your area e.g. East Midlands HD
Then green button to save
Then select configure;
Setup mode - Expert
Schedule Scan - Yes
Time of Scan Start - 04:00 (am)
Then green button to save
Back to providers;
SKY IRL generate main bouquet - No
SKY IRL generate section bouquets - Yes
SKY IRL generate HD bouquet - No
SKY IRL generate FTA bouquet - No
SKU UK generate bouquet - No
SKY UK generate section bouquets - Yes
SKY UK generate HD bouquet - Yes
SKY UK generate FTA bouquet - Yes
Then green button to save
Providers order;
Highlight skyuk and press yellow to move up
Then green button to save
Hide sections;
Tick the ones you don't want. (I have all irish ticked apart from sports). This is for your preference, then green button to save
Then click on start scan. After scanning has completed exit right out until main menu screen and restart your Vu+ Solo2. :thumbsup:

Use Autobouquets, Menu\Setup\Service Searching\AutobouquetsMaker, under providers make sure you select correct service provider for your needs and your region. Select other settings to suit your needs, if it does not, change setting until you are happy. You can also edit setting by selecting EPG from remote and then menu. Hope this helps.

Doing what I have said will give you the correct numbering in each sub folder etc. For the scan schedule, do this to suit. I have ABM to scan at 4:00am and CrossEPG to scan at 4:15am. This is just my preference. :D

Only thing i would add there, no need to restart the receiver after running ABM.
