Fixing channel search to specific tuner

I am currently installing a new additional bigger dish and would like to be able to run a quick comparison with the existing dish set up.
So new dish will be on tuner A, and old dish on tuner B, both with 28.2E capability/access.

Apart from temporarily changing the tuner config and disabling a tuner, is there any way "on the fly" to pick a specific tuner before choosing a specific channel? :confused:

No, but the satfinder is excellent for that. Set it to a specific satellite & transponder and you can swift switch between tuners.

I think SatFinder let you chose the tuner. Go to the channel you want to test and then in satfinder.
