Vu Duo dead Remote

Today for some reason my remote is not controlling the box?
Any button pressed does not even flash red light on display, Changed batteries did not resolve.

Any clues?

The DUO has no options for using other input devices nor for using another R/C-code.

Now time to throw out all the dud batteries!

In future you can check if your remote is working or not by using the camera on your phone. The infrared will show up as a white light when view through the camera.
