Android TV Box - Solo2

I currently have a Skybox F5
My attention has been drawn to Android TV Boxes
Is this what the Solo2 boxes can do ? ie get Ice Films and all the other stuff these boxes do ?

perhaps not exactly but similar. With plugins MediaPortal (German) and TSMedia (English) a lot of streaming from internet can be done.
