Recording programmes

Hi, I am new to this forum and also new to these boxes, I've recently bought a VU solo box and have tried recording to a USB stick, however it only recorded 37 minutes of a 60 minute programme, what have I done wrong, I set it to record on the EPG, I used a 64gb stick, thanks in advance for any help.

It is fat32

Fat32 has a file limit size, so if recording a HD channel it will likely crap out pretty fast.
Best to format it in the box so it's ext4.

Sounds like good advice, will try that, how do I do it? And do you think 64gb is big enough for recording, thanks a lot for your replies.

Menu -> Setup -> System -> Stotage devices -> Initalisation.
64gb is fine for some recordings, depending on the R/W speed of the USB.
I prefer to record to internal HDD or networked HDDs though.
