Using the Duo2 remote on a Panasonic Vierra TV

Hi all.

I have entered the 2153 code as per the manual, but it doesn't seem to control anything on the TV.

Are there any other Vierra owners that have got 2153 to work please?

Yeah mine works with code 2153. What problems you having?

Hi Andy.

I put the code into the remote and exited the programming mode and I don't appear to get any response from the TV when I press the buttons on the remote.

I will have to investigate a bit more, it isn't the end of the world Andy, it would just reduce the number of remotes on the sofa.

Does the volume work on the vu remote?

Nothing happens on the TV Andy.

Try this;
Make sure volume is maximum on the vu remote. Then with the vu remote do the following;

1/ Press numbers 1 and 3simultaneously until the tv power button on the vu remote illuminates.

2/ Now enter 2153 (the tv power button should blink every time you enter a number)

3/ Hold and press the mute button on the vu remote whilist pointing at your tv until your tv mutes,

4/ Now press the volume on your vu remote (your sound should come back on and the volume should work +/-)

5 To exit press the ok button and the stop button (the recording stop key)

The above procedure worked like a charm on my Pana PX70, so guessit should work on yours too.
