hi their folks have been reading some guides on here with no luck as im trying to setup my solo 2 via no-ip

INADYN_ON=1
INADYN_USERNAME=xxxxxxx@me.com
INADYN_PASSWORD=xxxxxxxxx
INADYN_ALIAS=weirskynet.no-ip.biz
UPDATE_PERIOD=3600000
LOG_FILE_ON=1
LOG_NAME=/var/log/inadyn.log
DYN_SYSTEM_ON=1
DYN_SYSTEM=default@no-ip.com

but when i goto the inadyn setup menu the fields are blank i can set it to auto start but i cant start it and nothing shows as being created in the log file

where am i going wrong here and what else do i need to change

also mu no-ip alias ends in .biz as its a free one

thanks folks as been trying things from various guides and nothing another says to edit the enigma2.sh to add inadyn to a line above

but the line it tells you to enter it above isn't in my enigma2.sh

I don't use this but as a suggestion could you put the details into your router instead?

I have forwarded ports on the router have that side all setup
It's just the actual part in the box itself I'm struggling with

I find it easier just to edit /etc/inadyn.conf
Here's mine with personal details x'd out.

# Check for a new IP every 54000 seconds (24 hours)
update_period_sec 36000

# Enter your DynDNS.com username and password here
username xxxxx
password xxxxx

# What kind of host is being updated? Choices are dyndns@dyndns.org, statdns@dyndns.org, custom@dyndns.org
dyndns_system dyndns@dyndns.org

# The hosts you want to update (uncomment the lines below)
alias xxxxx.no-ip.info
#alias another-dynamic-host.homeip.net

Ok tested and the connection works and setup fine

What I'm wondering is

Is their a bandwidth limit in the no-IP free as I can stream things to the plex app for iPad etc fine even hd

I have. 10mb upload but I can't seem to stream an sd channel from box without stuttering

Never had this problem before
Anyone else experience this ?

No bandwidth limit I am aware of, however the no-ip service just updates your domain to your IP address so all the bandwidth you are using to stream is coming direct from your connection. i.e no-ip is not a VPN type service.

The streaming function is abit hit and miss at the moment on the latest build, which is fixed in current test builds not yet released.

Ah that's cool I know it's setup fine as I can access the box and functions etc
And the plex media server app streams fine

So will leave as it is the now and wait for
Future update to vix thanks
