Lazy user needs help re image and usb

Hi all ive neglected my system been working well for 3 years so left alone. Was flashed elsewhere so never done it but know my image is VIX but ancient and want to update the image to the latest VIX for VU+ Duo and if possible a link. Also really would like to try and add Usb , Epg keep reading but not got a clue if it works or how to install or best link .....please help guys,,,,,,,,,,,:eek:
