Reason for recent lack of updates

I searched the forum now but I could not find an information about why there are no updates for the Images for quite a while now. Is it because a new major release is prepared? Or are there any other reasons?

Yes.. A new version of the Vix image is being tested at the moment..

Please do not ask for a time frame when this will be released.. As all we can tell you is it will be ready when its ready..

Thanks a lot for the info. You could probably make a sticky information about this? Not that its a mayor issue, I just was wondering. (Or a info banner on the download-page)
