How do i view subtitles using the vix 1.2 image

I recently updated my box to 1.2 from 1.1 and no longer have subtitle function, if i press the menu button the first drop down list comes up but there is nothing in the Subtitle list for me to choose so as to get the subtitles.

Is this on all channels or a particular one ? how did you update your box USB or online, if online did you do it twice ?

i have noticed this menu does not show a selectable sub on some channels and i am guessing that is not VIX but a case of the channel or program is not broadcasting subs at that time

no it should not be all all channels its possibly a error internally try a update and see if not you may need to perform a clean new reflash and take it from the begining. even a retore can bring back a previous error if its loaded into the resore image so do a clean reflash and try

All channels, and i updated online. I also done it twice until i got 80 updates come up on the screen and done it for the third time until 0 updates available showed on the screen.

Sorry i am still new to this and yes i updated twice o different days until 0 updates was displayed.

it may be yu have a setting some where that is clashing it may be a good idea if you can afford the loss of settings and dont mind starting afreah to do a clean 1.2 flash.

I have to admt my machine was fairly clean when i flash updated it to 1.2 and i have been watching the threads closly reading all the errors ppl have been having and i must say alot of them are down to user error or the box settings being in jumble as since i have updated i can safely say touch wood i have not experience not one error yet my 1.2 is runnig the same as it did 1.1 with the extra new features included.

So to conclude it may just be a case of needing to reflash it from scratch
