stuck in reflash

Hi everyone,
My Vu+Duo seems to be stuck in the re flash setting. I was trying to re flash an image from a week ago. This after installing Flash expander and not being happy with the results (record settings were messed up even after i removed the plug in).
Been a good 20 minutes with no reboot.
Is it safe to turn the power of and try to flash an image from usb?

If it has been stuck for that long you have no option but to reboot the receiver, and be careful with flash expander, it is one of the very few plugins that can cause real damage to a receiver.

If you turn the box off, leave for 10 secs and then turn back on you will find it will have updated successfully.

I went for a clean install of the image from the usb.
System is back up and running.
Ill steer clear from Flash expander for the time being.
Good to know that sometimes it doesn't reboot automatically from an image reflash (doesn't have to be a disaster).
I was worried that the image had been moved by the installation of flash expander, even though the title was visible.
Not very logical i know, but panic did ensue.
Anyway learnt a little more about using Vix.
