movie editor that shortens movie?

hi all
is there a addon for the vix image ona vu+duo that can cut and shorten a movie?
using cutlist editor does not shorten a movie as far as i know is this correct?
i have a movie that is 6hours long and i only what 1hour in the middle can this be done?

Cutlisteditor should do the job (although I haven't used it in years).

Hi,
cutlist editor does not cut anything not even a slice of bread:-) As the name says it only generates a cutlist. This cutlist is then taken by the plugin moviecut and this does the cutting.

Indeed: the plugin 'moviecut' must also be installed.
