What is this flashing icon? Its been bugging me.32230

It's the image update icon, telling you there are updates available.

Green for stable.
Red for unstable.

although even Red does not necessarily mean bad, it means that we have not tested it thoroughly for one reason or another, usually as it's just a minor update that does not need testing, but to play it safe we classify it as unstable.
