Hi,

I am trying to set up a portable hard drive (USB Powered) for recording. I am using the latest Vix image.

I have gone to Mount Manager and mounted the portable drive, in the back USB port, as /media/usb2 (I have a USB stick in the front USB port called /media/usb - I use this for Picons and EPG). The drive is set-up as EXT4.

Then I went into system settings and went to Storage Devices and clicked on Initialisation.

Then I went to Recording Settings. In there I see that the Default Movie Location says /media/hdd/movie/

So I tried to click left and right on that in order that it would show the portable drive i.e. /media/usb2

But all I get is a pop-up-window that says 'The directory /media/hdd/movie/ is not writable. Make sure you select a writable directory instead'

What am I doing wrong please, how do I get the box to see the Portable Drive in Recording Settings?

Thanks you
