USB problem in VU+ Solo

My new VU+ Solo cannot be upgraded as it does not see any DiskOnKey connected to front or rear USB input. The DOK is FAT32 formatted. I also put some MP3 and MP4 files on DOK, insert it into VU+ go to MENU->MEDIA PLAYER, but there is only 'Internal Flash' shown in the Media Player menu.
What's the problem? Can someone help?

Try a different flash drive ( usb stick ), also try formatting it with the HP format tool ( google for a download ). some Vu+ receivers can be picky with the flash drives they accept.
