View Full Version : [Venton Unibox HDx] Problem with recording, error message each time

Recording on this box has created numerous problems, recordings were initially cutting short before the programmes were over. A message would come up saying write disk error. The problem got worse to the point where any timer recording would then crash the box. I thought the problem could have been with the hard drive so i have now changed the hard drive. the problem now is i cannot record anything and the second i record i get the following error message

Since this problem it has also knocked out the CCam that i have loaded, this has stopped working and when i delete it in filezilla and try to re-enter it the file will not copy over. I cannot currently copy any files over to the box and it is almost like the box is firewalled from me transferring anything to it.

Any help would be great?

Your flash is full.
Have a look in /var/lib/opkg/lists/ for any large files & delete them if you find any.
Other than that, a fresh flash might be the easiest solution.

I have deleted the bigger files from this folder and now the box doesnt boot at all?

What exactly did you delete?
Removing these files won't cause the box to fail on booting.

apologies the box just took a very very long time to load up in comparison to normal. the ccam is now working perfectly, i am just watching something before i want to check if it records but thank you very much for the help provided so far!! i will come back on here with reports on recording.
