Satellite XML file

Hi Guys,

I am new to the VU scene, only had it 3 days lol.

Could someone please explain to me to satellite.xml file purpose please? I know there is a how-to to update it. But I don't know what I am actually replacing. Does it need updating?

I don't even know what settings I use to create a new one, I use the Sky satellite, that's all.

you should no longer need to replace the satellites.xml file within ViX as we update it our selves upon a image update from our own database located at http://satellites-xml.org/
