what are the red hash lines in recorded timeline?

In some of my recorded programmes the time bar has a few red hash lines through it. Anybody know what they are/mean?

Which image? Using ViX, timers by default kick in 3 minutes early & finish 5 minutes late, presume it's these marker lines you're talking about?

Latest vix. No not that. Am watching a recording 179mins long. One line is just short half way through and the other one looks to be about 10mins from the end.

I was thinking they're timestamps you could skip too somehow, or maybe showing errors or lost signal in the recording?

Right/left arrows on remote will skip to markers - if they are markers.
