Hi there,

Running Build 808 of Vix and I would like to know if there is a XBMC plugin for the Vu Solo2?

Is there a tutorial on how to get this set up?

Thanks in advanced

Hi,

That links explains how to stream from the Solo2. I want to setup XBMC on the solo2 so I can access it via the Vix image. Is there a plugin I can install for the XBMC application?

Thanks

Hi,
XBMC itself is not and will not run on any current Box. There is a plugin which allows to use some XBMC addons.

ciao

This Is From Wiki...

"XBMC is thus officially not yet available for the MIPS processor architecture, nor does it as yet support DirectFB or DRI (Direct Rendering Infrastructure) rendering without OpenGL/GLES hardware accelerated graphics support. The combination of MIPS, DirectFB, and DRI is a popular architecture used today by set-top boxes and low-end digital media players, such as those based on Sigma Designs and Realtek chipsets. An XBMC port to MIPS processor architecture is, however, currently being worked on by the XBMC development team."

But Trial's Correct, It Won't Run On The Current Generation Of Boxes...

I heard from people in the know this system is a load of s#*t mate, you could buy a decent sat Receiver and a raspberry pi for the same money with a better viewing experience.

Ditto plus poor support..

At this moment in time i personally would not buy a prismcube primarily due to the severe lack of support, that may very well change down the road but rite now i'd much rather buy a well established E2 receiver such as a GB Quad than a prismcube.
