View Full Version : Missing PIDs
VU+ Ultimo
v3.0/808
Last update: 21/12/2013
I have one channel, CBS Action (148) which, although scanned and EPG updated, fails to tune due to missing PIDs
On my other box, a DM500HD, the PIDs are correctly picked up so I know what they should be.
Q/ How to edit the single channel PIDs and preserve the ABM channel numbering.
TIA
:confused:What's the record for number of views with not a single reply?

Are you using any other channel lists with your Ultimo? If so, which one?

Hello
No, I am not.
The channel lists, with associated epg, but will not tune to it.
Thanks

I don't use ABM, but just ran it using East Midlands HD. It came up OK. Perhaps a reflash without settings restore may be worth trying?
Ok, thanks. I'll try that on Monday and report back.
Even if I choose All Channels (all those scanned), it lists there, with epg, but will not tune to it when selected.
Best
no issues here with that channel and ABM on my boxes including my ultimo.
Thanks, Phoenix.
The only difference between the channel on my Ultimo with my DM500 is the PID entries.
So, the DM500 tunes oko but the Ultimo doesn't.
Anyway, I'll rescan on Monday and check then.
Good morning
Ok, it seems the issue is actually with Transponder 11222 27500 H 2/3 on 28.2E
I re-scanned (auto). Same problem.
I manually scanned 11222 and no channels are picked up.
Again, this is only an issue with the Ultimo (mine!). The DM500 picks up the channels.

Are you using the same cable to test with the DM500. i.e disconnecting the Ultimo and connecting the DM500? If not, try connecting the Vu to the cable that the DM500 is using.
You don't need to scan. Just run ABM. it will get the data (as provided by the provided) it requires for the channel.
No. Twin LNB so different cables.
Ultimo downstairs, DM upstairs.
I'll take Ultimo up and connect to the DM's cable.
Will report result.........
oh good, always interested.
Nothing solved this (minor) issue until upgrading to the new image.
All channels now tune.
