How to back up

Hi

Could anyone explain how to backup vix 1.2 and my settings to a USB stick. Also how do you say thanks for a useful post other than a reply via post.

Image backup: Menu>Setup>VIX>Image Manager
Settings backup : Menu>Setup>Software Management
