View Full Version : VU+ Solo2 (with OpenPLi) - How to add Satellite list and Channels on each satellites
I have a VU+ Solo2 box (with OpenPLi). There is no satellite list available, neither channels on each satellite. How to add a various satellites to the box
Also how would I backup the BlackHole image that is currently on the system?

I do not know what set up you are after so take a look here at all the guilds.

In open pli as well as vix there will be/is a plugin available from plugin menu called "autobouquets" download and install this set it up for your area and this will give you your channel lists.
This shows how to manually add channel lists to vu solo 2 using dreambox edit.

Hi,
if you are missing a satellite you need a new file called satellites.xml which contains all satellites which can be selected in the tuner configuration. In ViX it is located in /etc/tuxbox. Here (http://satellites-xml.eu/) you can generate the xml file with the satellites you need.
ciao
Which is easier for a starter - OpenPli / Blackhole / Vix?

VIX imho is the only compkete image in thst list.

use blackhole backup from menus.
As above vix is the one and only image for me..leaps and bounds above the rest for ease of use simplistic yet feature packed and ready to go from flash..all you need is your bouquets and it has a plugin for them.
