No FTP

Hi re-flashed box with new image and now cannot connect via FTP..dont get it as flashed lots of times and change nothing and always able to connect but this time not
I am getting this error: cannot locate user entry:vsftpd

Use image manager and go into back ups and restore and then use image to load latest image..

Thanks but i dont get what you mean..in vix manager restore a backup and then...

The use image manager to load latest image , Menu>setup>vix > image manager then press yellow button for downloads press green to download latest image, I used to just use software update on my solo2 but since using image manager i've never really had any issues after updates or re flash, using the manager is the same as a reflash and you can use the wizard to re install plugins and settings

Cheers i know what im doing but many thanks for your help..I was wanting a way to correct the ftp access problem without needing to do a reflash i even renamed the image but still no ftp..Telnet was fine though..very strange was like the vsftpd code was corrupted ..But thats what i have done clean install and problem has gone and have full ftp access.

Too late now as problem has been solved

vsftpd.conf goes in /etc/ Obviously can't ftp a replacement file, you can use tuxbox commander to copy from USB drive.
