I have two Vu+ Solo2 boxes, one of which is working fine. However the other one is playing up with it's network/internet connection. I can only occasionally ftp to it and it won't consistently stream from internet, yet it downloads updates, epg etc.
I have checked all connections (they are both lan connected) have swapped them round for one another all without success! Any ideas, please?

Have both different IP addresses & hostnames?

Yes, different IP's and hostnames. They have both worked for about 10 months till now!

Forgot to say running Vix, were both on 808 but I took the troubled one back a build, made no difference.

If you've checked settings that should be the same, DNS, gateway...
and settings that should be different, IP, hostname...
Sorry, can't think of anything so besides a fresh flash & no settings, plugins restore.

OK, thanks. I'll have a go at that over the weekend.

did you have them on same home group?

Yes, same home group.

When you swapped them, did the one that was playing up still play up or did they swap around?

That one still played up, ie: the fault stayed with the box.

Agree with judge Do a reflash on the box, only other thing I'd suggest would be change the ip and to make the ip address static in the router

I'll try both options. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Re-flash didn't do it so I gave it another ip address and it is now fine! I wonder if there was an ip conflict even though I couldn't see one on the router?

Maybe the ip address had be reserved for another device whilst your box was switch off and maybe that was the conflict.. Just a thought ?

Glad you got it sorted.
