"TV Button" Menu Appearing without TV button being pressed

I have a VU+ Duo Receiver, and the menu which normally would appear after pressing the TV button Twice keeps appearing by itself, every minute or so, sometimes faster.

I have tried removing the batteries from the remote for a while and also made sure that the dial on the front isn't sticking and selecting it.

Is this something that is known about and there is a fix for it, or is it a fault with the Receiver itself?

Try updating your receiver to the latest version 808. Not always but found mostly this will sort out alot of box issues.

also if your TV supports HMDI-CEC try disabling it from the TV's end as that can cause these kinds of issues.

Done that update, and it has stopped doing it right now, ill come back if it starts doing it again (as it sometimes stopped doing it before as well).
