Please Help With Broken Start Code On Vu+duo
How do i fix broken start code on the vu+duo Please, the problem started last night when watching a tv program .The problem was with Timeshifting back 30 minutes or so and that’s where the problem started, and when I try and go in to some settings and I get the black error screen .With either saying Timeshift ,and now the black error screen says Broken Start Code.

'Broken Start Code' is debugdata from the drivers and in itself not interesting.
But a BSOD means that a crashlog has been created. We would need that to be of advise.
And first of all: tell us which image you're using.

Thank you very much for letting me know about the error 10057 repair tool ,I was about to download and use it.

That repair tool will likely do nothing (as it sounds like it's more likely something to do with a pc problem, not for your box)...

Your error logs will be wherever you configured the log manager to store them... If you haven't configured them yet, they should be at /home/root/. Otherwise, will be at /media/hdd/logs or /media/usb/logs

FTP in to your box, download them to your computer, and then upload them here...

Where do I retrieve the the crash logs please.

/home/root/logs/ by default.

Thank you Mr Mister
Is that the latest OpenViX Image ,and can you see what the fault is in the crash-log.

1- Next time please add a log as attachement; that's much more easy to handle.
2- It looks like the end of the log is missing. But what it clearly show, is issues with the service settings. I would load the settings again. If you can't, or if that doesn't help, I would advise to flash the box.
3- Images are always available from here (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=Vu%2BDuo/).
4-Moved to this section.
Please read this thread HERE (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?33154-ALL-MEMBERS-PLEASE-READ!-New-method-of-posting-in-ViX-Support-Section-coming-soon!)
