Solo2 unable to initialise hard drive

Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a Solo2 from World of Satellite and i am now trying to initialise my pre-installed hard drive, however i am getting a message saying unable to initialise hard drive!

Is it worth pulling the drive out and putting it into an external enclosure - that way at least you can stick it via usb into your laptop/pc and run a diagnostic on the drive? It may also not be plugged onto the mainboard of the solo2 quite right? :confused:

maybe already initialised.

It may just need mounting? try that

Hi if you try everything to no avail as a last resort reflash with latest vix image and go from there..
this is what i have done in the past and then only needed to set up the hard drive like to never sleep or after 2 hours etc as the drive was seen by image.
