1080p not available

Hi there,

I'm new to the world of linux satellite boxes and have purchased one for a cinema that I work in. I need to output 1080p for the image to be accepted by the projectors but the option is not abailab;e to me. I am using a Technomate TWIN OE and it is capable of 1080p when using openPLI. I don't want to use openPLI though, seems to be buggy.

Can anyone advise on whether it will be available in future builds?

You can use the autoresolution plugin to obtain 1080p output.
But don't expect miracles!

Thanks Rob. I'll try that!. Is it a big ask for native 1080p support? I've no idea what is involved so please excuse my ignorance.

We tried it and PQ was below level (for TV).
The de-interlacing (from 1080i to 1080p) will be done much better by any TV.
