vu+ solo 2 problems

vu+solo 2 openvix latest image..crosse epg set up ok but it goes to starting.then downloads 908 chs as per usual.but then crashes on 97kb then 195kb then finishes after 5 mins or so.works fine on my vu+ solo..also vu+ 2 i keep getting flash screen with channel when I turn over..again doesn't do this on my vu+ solo.is my images corrupt.and can you flash new images using dcc and then ftp the new image across.all help appreciated.

Why dont you use flash drive/usb pen drive to reflash.?
you can download the latest image for solo2 and ftp to image folder and install from there or use vix manager to download new image within box and install.

If you use Image manager, its the same as doing a fresh install, goto MENU> SETUP>VIX> and in there you will see back up manager and image manager, see if you have an older back up of you now install image which will have persevered your plugins and settings. Go onto image manager and press yellow button "from memory" to show list of images, select image and down load. Once downloaded the screen stays on the list of images, back out and go in to image manager and then install. you can use wizard to restore plugins and settings. Should your issue still be there afterward, try again but without using restoring wizard.

Try re-install of the cross-epg plugin. This fixed it for me.
