vu+ sol2 cant flash an image

I have 2 vu+ solo boxes a 1 and a 2 but I want to try a new image ie blackhole..I have downloaded image but it doesn't flash at all.is it a prob with my stick thx.all box does is restart like normal thank you

Try formatting the flash drive ( USB stick ) with the HP format tool.

and make sure the file structure of the image your trying to flash is correct.

daft question have you pressed power key??

, on solo2 unlike solo and duo you have to press the the power key on the front on boot up to flash , otherwise it will boot up as normal

Use a rear USB port.

Remove all other USB devices.

Use a max 8GB USB stick.

Format with HP Tool as advised above.

If stick still not recognised check the file structure on your USB stick and buy a Genuine Kingston stick.
