How to Change MAC Address
With this tool you can change the MAC address on your Gigablue receiver.
USE WITH CAUTION!
You can edit the burn.bat. ! Caution! DO NOT use the Windows Notepad!!
Use Ultraedit, gedit or similar. google helps. Notepad++, Crimson Editor work ok.
You can use the following characters 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ABCDEF
For example:
5C-AB-36-00-FF-55
Power off your Gigablue receiver.
Copy burn.bat to ROOT of USB stick formatted FAT32.
Connect to USB port and power on.
Once fully booted you will have a new MAC address.
The enclosed burn.bat is pre-set to:
AC-DB-EE-11-22-44
The above is different to the default Gigablue MAC address.
