Remote to LG TV

Been trying for 2 hours now
Pressing 1 and 3 together until tv button lights
Input 1628 code
Press mute
No go

Tried 1 and 3 together until tv button light
input 0000
held mute in for 15 mins
No go
What an I doing wrong

Vu=Duo2 image 808 though I don't think that matters

i guess 1628 is the correct code

keep holding mute until it works after you have the code in

if not reset your remote then try the auto with 0000, sometimes it is painful but should work

I have it working correctly with an LG 47LW5500.

If you are not able to make it work by tomorrow, let me know and I will check the manual and let you know exactly what buttons I pressed in order to have it working.

As for the image, it does not have any influence on the remote.

many thanks got it going now but not sure how.
Not touching it agn do not want to have to go through that agn.
It does not seem to work as per manual.
