Hi

I have a 90cm motorised dish and a second little sly dish going into my Solo 2. Am I right in thinking I could also add a usb tuner to give me further recording options on 28E?

Thanks
Tom

Yes you are.

For DVB S2 I would recommend this

Thanks - Do I just plug it into the back of my Solo 2?

You will need to install drivers from feeds but yes just plug in back and connect to coaxial.

Sorry - not v good on the hardware side - With my coaxial coming down from my sly dish, can I then split it with some type of splitter box into the back of my new usb tuner?

Thanks
Tom

You cant split a satellite cable. It has to be dorect from dish to tuner.

as abu says each tuner needs a direct feed from the LNB, you can not split the cable as it will not work properly afterwards and may even cause damage to the tuner, receiver or LNB as a result. Best thing to do is to fit a quad or octo lnb and run a new feed to the box.
