Which internal sata drive for Vu+ duo, 2.5" or 3.5"?

I have read various conflicting posts regarding internal sata drives for this receiver

Can anyone advise me if 2.5" or 3.5" is needed, or possibly if both work?

Both will work fine although with 2.5 you will need to get an adapter to convert it to 3.5 as the vu is 3.5 inch

Personally, I much prefer the 2.5" drives as they (usually) get less hot, are more power efficent and quiter than larger form-factor drives. They are also basically the same price as the regular 3.5" ones, and many do come with the (simple) bracket needed to install in a 3.5" bay.

The samsung eco green drives run at 5200 and run cool compared to most hard drives,i don't find that my duo is hot near the hard drive at all but at the cpu and psu when it does get hot,although that is cold compared to my old dreambox.
