I really like my DE image but am tempted to change to VIX

Why not take a backup (http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?262-Image-Backup-Scripts-for-VU-DUO-Dream-Elite-images-only) of your dream-elite image, and give it a go? If you don't like it, just restore the dream-elite image...

Like Serge says i also like the DE but also want to try the VIX but don't know how to backup the DE so if someone can help me make a backup i would be very grateful.

Follow the link I posted above, has all the tools needed for making a backup in the dream elite image...
