do I need to flash bootloader

Been using vix 2.2.100 for sometime but fancy upgrading to the latest version, I do remember flashing the bootloader just before flashing with the vix image. My question is do I need to flash the bootloader again before using the latest image ?

If you have never updated to the latest bootloader then yes yo will need to although it is a one time only process so once done you wont need to do it again unless a newer version is released. To be safe i would flash the newest version bootloader from www.openvix.co.uk then flash the latest image for your receiver from the same site.
