My Sly kept glitches & freezes, i blamed my provider for poor service until a fitted a slope control between VU+ & lnb, now i have got a purfect picture. Find them on Flea Bay for the price of a pint if you want to try one.

What channels was it glitching on?

FTA or PAY channels?

Glitching on all channels, its a small box about 3"x 1" with a IN & OUT, the out to VU+ & in to the lnb, boost signal from lnb ideal for long cable runs.

I had one of them on my DM800 clone, but it would only work with certain LNB's.

Was your signal strength going up and down? Just out of interest what LNB/cable run do you have?
Was it OK on other satellites (non 28.2)

Technomate twin lnb & 30mtr cable run, signal strength was stable but kept glitching & freezing home/living channels was the worse.

Sounds more like you had/have an poor connection/allignment problem.

Can you use one of these before or after a diseqc switch?

I should think before mine plugs in the back of the VU+.
