steaming live TV to android bug

couple of builds ago MX PLAYER for android was able to stream live television using its h/w+ decoder. this meant that the quality was as good as it can get for android and no drop in frame rate and also less battery is used due to hardware decoding. now for whatever reason that functionality is gone and now I'm forces to use software decoders which is rubbish which drops frames, lags etc. any solutions?

have you tried the vu player for android its available through google play

As mentioned above Vu Player has it's own built in player, can also try DreamDroid or an alternative player.

I use the vu app with internal player and it works ok

Whilst i understand that I don't know if you have used a hardware decoded stream of VU+ i mean the quality difference is immense. Plus you save battery on your device by not using the software decoding
