Got a Duo2 but i am having real issues learning the ir codes onto my URC MX5000 remote. The codes learn but only work once. i.e if you press number 1 it works once and multiple presses wont bring up the number 1 again. Its almost like the codes have some sort of rolling frequency to them. Does anyone have the ir codeset in hex or another format? Cheers

Go buy a decent remote, Logitech Harmony works OK, not seeing why it should be a VU+ DUO2 problem that your remote doesn't work, if the original works, then there's nothing wrong with the DUO2.
Doesn't the URC MX5000 have a support forum, can't you call the engineer who set it up for you?

Not rolling frequency at all _ they are whats known as Toggle codes which your remote doesn't appear to handle, contact URC support to see if they have a solution.

More info on Toggle codes -

The IR Toggle feature is designed to alternate between two different IR codes every time the button is pressed.

The main use for this feature is for equipment that uses toggle (or parity) IR codes which means that the donor remote sends out two different commands for the same function, alternating between an "A" version and a "B" version.

The way to use this feature is to learn all the codes in twice, learning the "0" or "A" version of the code then learning the "1" or "B" version of the code into a single library. This entails creating an IR Library with each command entered twice having one labeled "A" and the other labeled "B". For example, you would have 1A, 1B then 2A, 2B and so on thru the entire remote. When learning the commands from the donor remote you will learn the "A" version of a command by pressing an individual button the first time, then the "B" version of a command by pressing the SAME button a second time without touching any other buttons. You must be very careful not to mix up the codes.

After you have learned all the codes, you would create a Toggle IR Code macro for a single command using both the "A" and "B" versions of that command. For example, a macro for the number "1" would be code "1A" then code "1B". Keep in mind that you might have to reverse the order of the "A" and "B" commands depending on the manufacturer.

Thanks Maxwell. The remote has the toggle learning ability so will give this a try.

You can also combine 1 and 0 version codes to one Pronto hex code. The format is pretty easy to understand, just makehex and notepad is needed... First is the actual 1 version code and then a 0 version code that controls no function of the receiver (for example 255). Repeating commands need a little more work.
For example here is Pronto hex of number key "1" for Duo2:

0000 0072 003F 0000 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 09DE 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 09DE
