hi peeps
i am a bit new to linux systems, i am having problems with the epg not loading.

i have managed to install two IPK files one for channel updater and one for the picon updater only after reading many posts and threads.

i have tried to use the cross epg thingy ..selected open tv and sky tv, they are a few more options like xml downloader etc.

i goto epg via setup etc select upload other option being upload and still my epg only populates what seems to be mostly fta channels.

Could some one please direct me to where i'm going wrong or any advise, links, files etc would be greatly apreciated.

You want crosepg and slect 28.2E opentv, no need to bother with the XML

thanks for info still getting no epg do I need to any scrip providers?
I have done as you said ...crossEPG - 07.7..down to Opentv providers .. 3 options gone to Sky UK OpenTV (astra2 on 28.2) put green tick against....yellow button ..download then get message Crossepg error: No validNIM found.
Then just gonback pressed green to save then back one selected download now ...says starting downloader then goes back to previous screen


exit out then press epg button still no epg.

help please

Thanks for link bit new to this game I did not think it was wrong section as I was trying to seek help with tm twin re: epg issues. I did't think it was a image problem, just me not knowing which buttons to press.

tuner config is:
tuner A .. simple
mode single
Sat astra 28.2e

tuner B .. is set same as tuner A
I have a fixed dish.
Should it be configured another way? :confused:

Have you a feed goung to tuner B?
If so, set that to
tuner B .. simple
mode single
Sat astra 28.2e

aswell.

TBH I have took feed off of tuner B (it needs rewire) but it is set to:
tuner B .. simple
mode single
Sat astra 28.2e

Will this effect EPG not populating, do I need to change it to not configured ?
i'l change it and report back.

If you don't have a feed to tuner b, configure it as such.
Use either not configured or loopthrough to a.
