USB Dongle

I wondered if there was a list of compatible ubb dongles that work well with a vu+ duo? Ive ordered the box but need to get a dongle and hard drive now, apparently 2.5 inch are better?? not sure if that's true?

I was looking at this usb dongle, anyone used one successfully?

HDD, 2.5" & 3.5" SATA, most should be fine, my pref would be a 2.5", less heat, less noise and faster spin up times.
