Can I set up my solo2 now and fit a hdd later?

Hi folks, fingers crossed my solo2 arrives tomorrow but my hdd will not be coming until next tuesday. Can I go ahead and try to set up the box without the hdd or should i wait? This is my first linux box so I'm itching to get started:D

No harm in setting it up now & adding HDD later.

Cheers again Judge, I went for a 1tb as advised. I looked at bigger drives but they get real pricey after 1tb:(

No worries, the Solo2 has plenty of flash, so you can store your picons there.
If you have a USB stick, you can store your EPG on that till the HDD arrives (flash should be fine too, but I wouldn't use it for long. As soon as you install the HDD, move EPG to that.)

You'll be slightly limited with USB stick with TimeShift & recordings though till you get the HDD installed.
