I use a vbox to drive my CM1.2 dish, no problem it's always worked without issue.

However since installing VIX and installing the em28xx drivers all works as expected until setting the USB tuner to DVB-T2, this for some reason prevents the dish from moving, the box just sits there with the spinner going with no way out unless performing a hard reset or init 4 from telnet.

Changing the tuner back to DVB-C and the problem goes away.

It's taken me hours to narrow down the problem but there it is.

Any ideas ?

I had similar issues using a USB 9660 dvb-s2 to drive my motor, It was recommended to use internal tuner to drive the motor not USB.

It is an internal DVB-S2 tuner driving the dish my usb tuner is DVB-T2 not S2 and connect to terrestrial aerial only.
