View Full Version : [GiGaBlue QUAD] DTS Audio issue on network movie playback

Movies that I have on my windows 8.1 NTFS share, which have DTS audio tracks no longer play audio on the latest build versions.
Other audio formats within the videos seem OK, AC-3 Mpeg4-AA etc, just not DTS.
Videos with multiple audio tracks play all but DTS audio
They used to play audio perfectly on versions prior to build 770.
Video plays ok though.
Can someone help me on this?

Thanks

Just tried build 774 and that plays DTS audio tracks within videos OK

Now that you have them working on build 774, if you do an online update to build 793, do they still work?

Hi,
I performed the upgrade and now DTS audio does not play.
Going to reinstall the 774 image

Problem with drivers so, please report issue to GB.

GB? Presumably the manufacturer?
Sorry I'm a newbie for forums

Yes, any problems with drivers should be reported to manufacturer.
In this case, GB = GigaBlue.

Having same issue.
Tried to report to GigaBlue but website was not much help and couldn't figure out how to do it.

Updated to build 808 and latest drivers 'gigablue-quad-drivers-3.3.8-2.0-20131115' - still had DTS issue.

Downloaded and installed drivers 'gigablue-quad-drivers-3.3.8-2.0-20130802' from http://archiv.openmips.com/
Appears to have resolved the issue. Will probably cause other issues but will stick with it for a while and see.:)

Has installing these drivers caused you any other issues? How did you install them?

the latest drivers are fine for DTS
unless your talking about DTS-Downmixing which is borked yes

Its a DL and the only info on the file is that its DTS 5.1. It must be DTS-Downmixing if the latest drivers can play DTS as I'm on vix 8.0.8

I've installed gigablue-quad-drivers-3.3.8-2.0-20130802 and can confirm DTS is now working, I've also reported the issue to gigablue.
